The Sweet Water Farms is an urban farm situated in Gurgaon very close to the Sultanpur National Park. The Farm is named after the sweet water that is found in the aquifers under the Farm. The Farm has been with the current owner since 2004 and is spread over 10.4625 acres. It is surrounded by sand hills and lies at the lowest level around it’s neighbours.
We have been growing and consuming seasonal produce for the last 20 years. We have experimented with various non-local vegetables with varying degrees of success. Our family has been eating atta made from wheat grown on the farm since 2005. While we have been growing mustard and oilseed crops, it is only this season that we have started cold pressing oil from our own seeds.
The farm has a beautiful lawn and a small 2 bedroom house surrounded by Cheeku, Jamun, Orange and Keenu trees. The farm also has a lovely swimming pool.
We have believed in sharing nature’s bounty with our friends and family. While many accept it graciously, others feel hesitant. We invite you become a part of our family. We hope that you will enjoy the goodness that Mother Nature intended. We also invite you to visit us and enjoy a day in the outdoors.
